A look into the performance of Elixir post-launch:
Elixir is currently integrated with Vertex Protocol, a vertically integrated DEX on Arbitrum that combines spot, open-ended and integrated money markets. Vertex utilizes Elixir’s DPoS protocol to power their Fusion Pools so that anyone can become a market maker on the exchange.
Vertex Fusion Pools can be accessed either through the Vertex interface or directly via Elixir interface itself. Thanks to Elixir's revolutionary concept, which provides algorithmic liquidity on central-limit order books by leveraging the collective capital of retail users in a delta-neutral model, Vertex has seen a significant increase in TVL and trading volume since the launch of Elixir pools on 1 November 2023.
Specifically, at the start of December 2023, over $9m in Vertex order book pairs were available through Elixir. And as of 5 January, there are 23 pools available on Vertex, launched through Elixir, which contain $7.83m worth of liquidity, including in some exotic pairs:
In addition, Elixir has demonstrated sufficient decentralization of its DPoS network, whereby the protocol is able to work with different chains and CEXs, managing the transfer of data (and therefore liquidity) to Intel SGX-based relay nodes that store trading keys for individual exchanges. Elixir's network currently has over 13.5k validators worldwide. And Protocol Volume is $85.89m in the last 30 days with active growth since early December 2023:
The security of the Elixir protocol is ensured by partnering with Chainalysis, which offers 24/7 monitoring of vulnerabilities in the protocol's smart contracts and allows for LPps protection.
Multiple other exchanges are planning to build products on top of Elixir to increase their volume and liquidity, incentivizing LPs via token incentives. One such exchange is RabbitX, a derivatives DEX on the Ethereum blockchain with a daily derivatives volume of around $500m.
Elixir’s powerful decentralized network is a new primitive enabling for democratized liquidity on orderbook-based exchanges, and the beta launch of its first integration has proven to be a glaring success.
We’re excited to watch the Elixir ecosystem grow throughout the new year.
